Kylian Mbappé is reportedly poised to exit Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiration of his contract at the end of June. Speculation is rife that the Frenchman will make a free-agent move to Real Madrid. Nonetheless, one journalist wishes the Frenchman could stay.

This past summer, PSG decided to take a different approach to how it now intends to build a team. Gone are pursuing big-name players and now looking for standouts that fit what manager Luis Enrique wants to play.

Due to this new philosophy, journalist Dave Appadoo noted to the Daily Mail (h/t Le10Sport) that he wishes Mbappé would be staying and not likely heading to Real Madrid. Appadoo states that the way the Ligue 1 side is building its team would be perfect for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

“It’s a shame that he’s leaving,” Appadoo said. “This team is the perfect match with a superstar like Kylian, who wants to win above all else. He’s not like Neymar. He is a rigorous professional. It would be a perfect ending if he won the Champions League.”

Mbappé can wrap up his PSG career, possibly reaching the UEFA Champions League final and winning the trophy that has long eluded the club as a sign-off. Nonetheless, the French giants will need to overcome a 1-0 deficit to punch their ticket to Wembley.
